With CERT 3000, developers and designers of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems and thermal exchange devices benefit from a complex
which is spread over 450 sq.m., featuring a testing and experimental facility with complete test services for energetic efficiency that only a
leading company like Sierra can provide.
The CERT 3000 laboratory can test small and medium-sized thermal exchange devices.
The laboratory employs high precision thermometers, flow, humidity and pressure transducers; a periodical calibration of instruments is performed by an ACCREDIA accredited laboratory.
The research is carried out for the optimization of heat exchangers and air conditioning machines with new low GWP refrigerant gases, in order to allow out customers to comply with the rules of the F-Gas regulations, for the reduction of the amount of refrigerant gas, and Ecodesign legislation, for the reduction of electrical absorptions.
In addition, in the laboratory area, a workshop has been created for the realization of prototypes.
